Yesterday again we just ran into a mob.
When our purchase manager Rafiq bhai reached the truck it was Maghrib time and he had to wait for pick up.
Waiting those few minutes outside, a crowd gathered and followed the team up to the gates.
Team was able to enter the Madrassa (our point of distribution), but the crowd outside grew, becoming violent.
Police had to be called to disperse them.View

They have spaced it out and are calling about 6 or 7 people at a time to maintain social distancing and avoid crowds.

100 packs to be distributed tomorrow InShaAllah.
Recipients to be called all throughout the day in small batches of 10 or so to avoid crowding.
Trusted people have a list of most needy, less needy and least needy. We are going by the most needy since need is more and availability is limited (350 packs).
After this round, if we see success out of it, we will try to continue this cycle (subject to conditions being conducive), and those that can afford to do it, can chip in again or reach out to their friends and families to participate.
Zakaat will be accepted in the next round too in sha Allah.
Chosen few will be asked to come pick up their share. We will not be distributing in the open. Too risky to do that as volunteers will easily get mobbed in no time.View
